Omri Taub was born in a Kibbutz. Pretty much in the middle of nowhere. But he managed to break through, being a copywriter and a creative director at TBWA, PUBLICIS, & DDB Israel already at his early 20s. He moved to London some years later and got his master degree in Film and Philosophy at Goldsmiths University of London. Whilst being a student Omri had started working on set as an AD for some of the hottest names in the UK music video industry. Moving forward Omri began directing TV ads and music videos and soon became a renowned professional. Along the years he has directed ads for Domino's Pizza, Sony Ericsson, FOX, SYM, AIG, & Pfizer, to name a few. He is also in the midst of developing his first feature length narrative film. The shift of becoming a commercial director from being a creative director and a copywriter happened in a really short time frame. Throughout the process he gained experience in video editing, video art, and screenwriting. The transition allows him to have an adaptive, well informed, and multi focal, sort of speak, angle to problem solving within any given project. The passion to the ad world, the dedication make Omri what he is known for; a rare and earnest artist.
